창Gen19:31~32, 
"큰 딸이 작은 딸에게 이르되 우리 아버지는 늙으셨고 온 세상의 도리를 따라 우리의 배필 될 사람이 이 땅에는 없으니 우리가 우리 아버지에게 술을 마시게 하고 동침하여 우리 아버지로 말미암아 후손을 이어가자 하고
And the firstborn said to the younger, "Our father is old, and there is not a man on earth to come in to us after the manner of all the earth. 32 Come, let us make our father drink wine, and we will lie with him, that we may preserve offspring from our father." 

- "이 땅에는 없으니"??? 바로 옆동네에 아브라함이 살고 있음을 그들은 모르지 않았다. 그런데, 이러한 잘못된 결론에 도달하는 그들을 보며, 상당히 의도적이라는 생각을 해본다. 그들이 살았던 소돔과 고모라의 잘못된 문화 때문이었을까?

- I wonder why Lot's daughters decided to lie with their father even though there were many other ways (including Abraham's family) to preserve their family on earth.
