"For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, declares the LORD. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts."
- Yes, God's thoughts are both different from ours and higher than ours... But, our big mistake regularly happened is to think it reversely~

창Gen20:11,
"아브라함이 이르되 이 곳에서는 하나님을 두려워함이 없으니 내 아내로 말미암아 사람들이 나를 죽일까 생각하였음이요 Abraham said, "Because I thought, surely there is no fear of God in this place, and they will kill me because of my wife."
- "이 곳에서는"! 하나님께서 역사하시는 영역과 그렇지 못하시는 영역을 "스스로" 나누고 은둔자처럼 지냈던 아브라함은 우리의 거울 속 모습이 아닌가?
"no fear of God in this place"! Abe, as we might do, did not believe God exists and works anywhere in the universe.

"큰 딸이 작은 딸에게 이르되 우리 아버지는 늙으셨고 온 세상의 도리를 따라 우리의 배필 될 사람이 이 땅에는 없으니 우리가 우리 아버지에게 술을 마시게 하고 동침하여 우리 아버지로 말미암아 후손을 이어가자 하고
And the firstborn said to the younger, "Our father is old, and there is not a man on earth to come in to us after the manner of all the earth. 32 Come, let us make our father drink wine, and we will lie with him, that we may preserve offspring from our father."
- "이 땅에는 없으니"??? 바로 옆동네에 아브라함이 살고 있음을 그들은 모르지 않았다. 그런데, 이러한 잘못된 결론에 도달하는 그들을 보며, 상당히 의도적이라는 생각을 해본다. 그들이 살았던 소돔과 고모라의 잘못된 문화 때문이었을까?
- I wonder why Lot's daughters decided to lie with their father even though there were many other ways (including Abraham's family) to preserve their family on earth.

"... 이십사 장로가 엎드려 얼굴을 땅에 대고 하나님께 경배하여 이르되 감사하옵나니 옛적에도 계셨고 지금도 계신 주 하나님 곧 전능하신 이여 친히 큰 권능을 잡으시고 왕 노릇 하시도다
... twenty-four elders... fell on their faces and worshiped God, saying, "We give thanks to you, Lord God Almighty, who is and who was, for you have taken your great power and begun to reign."
- 하나님의 통치는 그 자체로 감사의 이유가 된다...
God's reign per se is the reason for thanksgiving...
