출Ex12:26~27, 
"이 후에 너희의 자녀가 묻기를 이 예식이 무슨 뜻이냐 하거든 너희는 이르기를 이는 여호와의 유월절 제사라 여호와께서 애굽 사람에게 재앙을 내리실 때에 애굽에 있는 이스라엘 자손의 집을 넘으사 우리의 집을 구원하셨느니라 하라 하매 백성이 머리 숙여 경배하니라
"And when your children say to you, 'What does this rite mean to you?' you shall say, 'It is a Passover sacrifice to the LORD who passed over the houses of the sons of Israel in Egypt when He smote the Egyptians, but spared our homes '" And the people bowed low and worshiped." 

- 왜 하나님의 백성으로서 '즐거움과 긴장' 가운데 살아야하는가를 자문자답하며 하루를 시작 한다...

출Ex 12:13, 
"내가 애굽 땅을 칠 때에 그 피가 너희가 사는 집에 있어서 너희를 위하여 표적이 될지라 내가 피를 볼 때에 너희를 넘어가리니 재앙이 너희에게 내려 멸하지 아니하리라 
'The blood shall be a sign for you on the houses where you live; and when I see the blood I will pass over you, and no plague will befall you to destroy you when I strike the land of Egypt." 

- "내가 피를 볼 때에"! "when I see the blood"!

... 그를 위하여 내 창자가 들끓으니 내가 반드시 그를 불쌍히 여기리라...
... my bowels are troubled for him; I will surely have mercy upon him...(KJV Jer. 31:20)
